The city of Mutare has approved the 2019 supplementary budget.

At its special Council meeting which was held on the 28th of August 2019 Council passed a resolution and approved the supplementary budget in terms of section 219 of the Urban Council's Act.

residents and stakeholders are advised that all commercial, industrial and institution tarrifs have been increased by 800 percent.

all billables outside the LGA have been increased by 500 percent, with health fees increasing by 200 percent respectively.

motorists should take note that the parking fees have been increased from RTGs $1 per Hour to RTGs $ 5 per hour, with clamping fee now pegged at RTGs $ 180.00.

Residents and stakeholders are advised to take note of the new changes.
