City of Mutare conducted a City- wide 2019 supplementary budget consultation meetings in all wards.

The residents, ward development committees and the business community were consulted and their collective input incorporated into the draft supplementary 2019 budget. Input from stakeholders has been incorporated to strike a balance between key economic fundamentals prevailing in the economy and the need to guarantee basic services to the general populace.

Therefore, in terms of the Urban Councils Act Chapter 29:15, section 219 as read together with the Public Finance Management Act Chapter 22:19 section 47, notice is hereby given that Mutare City Council resolved to fix charges or tariffs to finance its 2019 supplementary budget.

The new proposed charges are available for inspection from the office of the Finance Director and all sub-offices (Dangamvura, Chikanga & Sakubva) during normal working hours.

All stakeholders with objections to the proposed tariff structure are advised to lodge them in writing with the Town Clerk not later than 30 days from the date of this publication.
